Biography
Rebecca Roanhorse is an Ohkay Owingeh/African American writer living in Northern New Mexico with her husband, daughter, and pug. Her debut novel "Trail of Lightning" is available June 2018 from Saga Press. Her short story "Welcome to Your Authentic Indian Experience (TM)" won Apex Magazine's Story of the Year for 2017 and is on the 2017 Nebula Recommended Reading List.
Her nonfiction can be found in Invisible 3: Essays and Poems on Representation in SF/F, Strange Horizons, Uncanny Magazine, and How I Resist: Activism and Hope for a New Generation (Macmillan).
She is a lawyer, and Yale graduate.
