Random quote: "Like the wind crying endlessly through the universe, Time carries away the names and the deeds of conquerors and commoners alike. And all that we are, all that remains, is in the memories of those who cared we came this way for a brief moment." - Harlan Ellison (Paladin of the Lost Hour)

It seems that different awards use a different sense of time for their awards (for example the 2020 Hugo is for books published in 2019, whereas the Nebula calls the 2019 winner for its crop of 2019 nominees).

My question is are we finished at this point in 2020 for all the awards based on 2019 publication dates to have been short-listed and winners decided?

I'm pretty sure that any awards which are going to be given for 2019 works have now been given.'
