Admin Posts: 4008 Location: Dallas, Texas | OK, so you have an idea for a challenge and you're ready to get stuck in but you don't know what to do about the challenge banner. Well, have no fear, we're here to help you with that. If you need a hand just drop us a note here with as many details as you have and someone will jump in to make you a banner to match your theme. I've personally done many of these myself and will gladly pitch in when and where I can but it doesn't have to be just me. There's a lot of talent in our membership and if you fancy lending your artistic skills to help a brotha' out you're more than welcome to throw your hat in the ring when someone comes looking for a hand. Please remember no one is under any obligation to use the banners that come out of any collaboration - I know I missed the mark with several attempts last year - sometimes the muse talks to you and sometimes not. No biggie. Try again or find someone else to help out. Maybe another member sees your vision better. It's supposed to be fun. The end goal is to have a snazzy banner that expresses the theme of your challenge and will look good posted on blogs and websites to link back to your challenge. If you have a blog please do use the banners as you see fit - that's what they're there for.

Extreme Veteran Posts: 557 Location: Great Lakes, USA | Since I can't upload images and have poor graphic design skills, can someone create a banner for the New Books of 2015 Challenge? Just changing the 4 to a 5 in the old banner will be just fine, if no one is feeling especially creative. Thanks!

Uber User Posts: 526 Location: UK | I would like some proper banners for my Omnibusters and Definitive 1950s challenges, if anyone wants to have a try. It might not be worth spending much time on the Omnibus one if it's only me doing it.

Here's one for Listomania. When I made lists, which I was always doing back in high school, I always ended up doodling on them so that was my inspiration. Hope you like it.

Admin Posts: 4008 Location: Dallas, Texas | Well, clearly that took longer than a few days. My initial ideas turned out to be crap so I had to come up with something better. I hope you like it.

Uber User Posts: 456 | I've set up a short new challenge, but I need help with making a banner for it. The challenge (2015 Trick or Treat) is to read just one horror book for Halloween, so there should be plenty of good possibilities for a striking banner.

Uber User Posts: 526 Location: UK | I've just foolishly created another new challenge, TIE-IN Fighter, for media tie-in fiction, and would very much like it not to have a generic banner. Thanks.

Thanks. Hey Doc, I did see this post but I've not had much time or creative drive lately to work anything out. I'll see what I can do this week. I have a few ideas kicking around that I want to try...
