Random quote: Words are pale shadows of forgotten names. As names have power, words have power. Words can light fires in the minds of men. Words can wring tears from the hardest hearts. There are seven words that will make a person love you. There are ten words that will break a strong man's will. But a word is nothing but a painting of a fire. A name is the fire itself. -- Patrick Rothfuss (The Name of the Wind) - (Added by: CyBorg) |

I've collected the images and one of our Uber Users will come along shortly to add the books to the DB. I only commented before so they wouldn't waste time hunting down the cover art since I already have it. Sorry for the confusion.

Uber User Posts: 1057 | Administrator - 2016-06-04 4:43 PM I've collected the images and one of our Uber Users will come along shortly to add the books to the DB. Okay, I've added skeleton records for the books (there are 20 of them!) right now, and will get back and do the Amazon/Audible links and the synopses as I can (or another Uber can feel free to do that, too). ISFDB isn't cooperating right now -- I managed to get the series page, but couldn't get the individual book pages -- so I've put them all in as Published by Starblaze and will have to fix the Publishers later, too. It doesn't appear as though there's been an anthology of the associated short fiction.

Uber User Posts: 1057 | controuble - 2016-06-04 11:57 PM Grr - finally found it. It's not in the series with the rest, but just the title in a list. NOT easy to find. It is marked as being in the same series, and if you search on "Chalion", or click "The Chalion Series" on any of the books in the series, it will come up (and of course, it comes up in a search for either or both words of the title). It also shows up with the rest of the books if you look under the SF/F/H Series feature for Fantasy beginning with the letter C. However, because it is short fiction rather than a novel, it does not appear grouped with the novels on the author's page -- it appears in the list of their short fiction at the bottom of the page.

Bradbury (AKA Michael Moorcock) - Barbarians of Mars Gardner Fox - Hunter out of Time Alan Burt Akers (AKA Kenneth Bulmer) - the Dray Prescott Series A. Bertram Chandler - the John Grimes series Thanks a bunch! These are in: Philip Wylie - The End of the Dream Already in under variant titles: C.L. Moore - Black God's Kiss. This one is a variant of Jirel of Joiry. The collection has been published under four different names that I am aware of but more only ever wrote six Jirel stories. David J. Lake is a pain to enter and the book you request is one in a series. I will come back for this one later. Dray Prescott Series and John Grimes series. Depending on how you count the Presscott series has 50+ booke and Grimes 30+. It ain't happening right now. I will see if one of the other uberuseers fancies a project.

Uber User Posts: 1465 Location: The Netherlands | Dlw28 - 2016-06-08 7:09 PM HI, could you please add Paul Cornell's The Lost Child of Lychford? It's out in November. Also the last in VE Schwab's Shades of magic trilogy-due in February next year. Or is it too early to ask?? Thanks! I prefer not to enter books until about two months before publication. Mostly for practical reasons. Publication schedules change, cover art may not be definitive, no excerpts are available yet, it is often unclear if the will be an audio book edition etc. It's easier to for us to wait a bit and get all the information in in one go. Also, with the exception of the people who have access to ARCs, members can't actually read those novels yet. I'd rather put something it that is of more immediate use. I'll keep an eye on both titles. They will be added a little closer to the publication date.

They are up for discussion in the uberuser forum. Know that all the individual Tor.com stories have been added to the database. You can always label the individual stories as read.
