Veteran Posts: 273 Location: behind the 4th wall | dalex - 2018-03-09 4:49 AM Thanks for the recent additions! According to this article on the Locus Magazine website, several of the recent nominees for the Women's Prize for Fiction could be considered genre fiction. Could someone take a look at the list and determine whether they could be added to WWEnd? (I think only one - The Mermaid and Mrs. Hancock - is currently in the database.) http://locusmag.com/2018/03/2018-womens-prize-longlist/
I do not believe this post was ever addressed. If the books do not qualify for the WWEnd database, I understand. But as far as I can tell no one said they could not be nor were they ever added. Thanks!

Member Posts: 26 Location: Washington state | Will you please add One Hundred Shadows by Hwang Jungeun? I would like to read it for my Women of Genre Fiction challenge list. It's a dark South Korean fantasy in translation (translator: Jung Yewon). It's a multi-award winner in S.K., although the awards were not genre-specific. https://www.tiltedaxispress.com/one-hundred-shadows

Regular Posts: 74 | There was a two volume version of Clark Ashton Smith's "Out of Space & Time" published by Panther Books in 1974. Under Donald A. Wollheim, you list many anthologies. I have one called "More Macabre", published by Ace Books in 1961 that fits the horror genre. Finally, I have a set of ten books called "The Forgotten Classics of Mystery", published by Juniper Press of NYC, but I can't tell what year, though it looks pre-60's. On the back it notes "the entire series is available to subscribers." To what, I am not sure. However, of the 10 books, roughly 375 pages each, there are volumes devoted to Wilkie Collins, Sheridan le Fanu, Arthur Machen, Robert Louis Stevenson, Udolpho. This is where I first read Machen's "The Great God Pan," among many other stories in these volumes that would certainly qualify under the horror genre.
