Annihilation

This is a tale told by an unreliable narrarator about her experiences in a weird, changing (evolving?) and ultimately unreliable environment - the mysterious Area X. Nothing is quite what meets the eye... or is it? This is an interesting start to what could turn out be a very interesting trilogy.

PS: Did anyone else notice the fungal connection with Vandermeer's Ambergris - especially Finch?
