Interesting fantasy tale, almost chock full of too many different adventures. It is entertaining, but the style is rather strange. It's almost like a dirty young adult book at times. There is a lot of emphasis on physical traits, sexual arousal, and plastic acts of personality. If those are looked past however the book is otherwise enjoyable.
The world building and various fantasy tropes employed are quite many. I like the concept of pretty much everything being magical and some of it being quite nonsensical. Every type of creature and random magical plant you could dream of exists in this book. The imagery and story telling is good.
I'll probably eventually read a sequel, but I'm in no big rush.
