What an amazing classic! I'm so glad I decided to read this. It honestly felt like a 300 or 400-page book with all the action that was packed into it, and it was only just over 100 pages. That's a really good thing.
It was just such a darn creative book. But it was so logical at the same time. Which is something I personally like to find in a book. I'm all for fiction, but when it's written in such a plausible way it really makes me dream about what could be. And isn't that one of the most beautiful things a book can do for us? I think it is, and to think this book was written before my grandparents were born!
This is one of the best classics I've ever read, I'm very on the fence about pushing it to a five-star.
I would recommend this book if you like philosophy, time travel (duh), adventures, and abstract thinking. Totally adding H.G. Wells to authors I need to read more of.
