The Human Division

This is fun to read, Just don't think too hard about the premise. Scalzi's prose is again right on target: glib, witty, snarky and funny. You'll likely find it a fast, easy read.

But the idea that the Earth would abandon the relationship with the only force keeping it safe in the face of almost certain destruction and enslavement strains credulity.

Fortunately, suspension of disbelief is a wonderful thing, and needs to be used continuously throughout these various stories and tales. That done, the time spent reading will likely be condisered positive.
