The Android's Dream

It is clear from the start that this story grew out of a joke that apparently came to Scalzi's mind while thinking about the Dick novel, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?. From that contrivance springs the entire goofy tale, which I suspect was a lot of fun to write.

It is foul mouthed, juvenile level language satire, and that will be off-putting for some readers. Others may find the Saturday movie serial style plotting to be engaging and encouraging.

The story tends to wander from time to time, so be wary that you'll have to plow through those parts to get back to the main track again.
