I told someone that, as far as I was concerned, Michael Moorcock had invented steampunk.
She told me I was wrong. I looked for, and found, these three novels, as I had bought them in the early 1980s, and lent them to her.
She is now convinced. And Oswald Bastable has a new fan. And I must read them again....
