The 2nd Oxford Time Travel book, To Say Nothing Of The Dog, pulls us into Victorian England of 1888. Our main characters are trying to solve the disappearance of an object that has been lost in history. They also attempt to ensure that certain known events actually happen in order to keep history from changing.
Connie Willis describes the social behaviors, artifacts and physical settings of Victorian England meticulously. It is an interesting mystery with numerous related sub-plots and surprises.
