A dark retelling of ancient goddess myths
The author's extensive research is reflected in this atmospheric horror novel of a modern young woman's introduction to, and induction into, an ancient goddess cult which derives its power from blood sacrifices.
Not a book for the faint-of-heart, but a very interesting read.
