The characterization and historical details, as always, were great, though I felt the plot lacked urgency, and the climax felt, I don't know, anti-climactic? And I don't think the addition of a load of orphaned kids to the mix contributed anything, sorry. I have enjoyed this series but may have to reconsider if the kids are going to be around much longer.
