So I have this metaphor: some books of Guy Gavriel Kay are like swimming in the sea - I feel perfectly content floating there, even with the slight work I have to put in, especially in the beginning when I'm warming up, and I don't even mind when not much happens in the end (who'd want that on the sea anyway). This book is like that and I loved reading it, but then I came out of it and that was it.
