I was disappointed with this one. I loved the first three books in the series, Jumper, Reflex and Impulse.

This new installment didn't live up to expectations. The story was okay, but it got a bit bogged down in too much science at the expense of the story. A lot of skimming was involved in getting over the bits about building a space suit, building a space station etc. I'm sure this could all have been done without pages and pages of science, and the book would have been better for it.

There was a good plot in there somewhere, it was just too hard to find amongst all the technical stuff.
